Glaze sample on a test bowl

I use small bowls thrown off the hump to try out glazes on.

I feel that bowls show off glaze to its full glory. Therefore, I find it better to use a small bowl than a flat piece of clay for this job. It gives me more of an idea what I can do with the glazes combinations on future, scaled up, pieces.
