Mixing and layering of glaze on this vase

The interaction between the glazes is different every time depending on thickness applied.

I particularly like the oily effect of separation around the top.

I used one too many layers on the base coat here, so it's almost completely hidden the pattern I carved into the vase. However, I wouldn't have the effect the glaze has produced without that amount. So there really are some happy mistakes, sometimes.

I will be using this mix of glazes again in future work. I'm thinking what piece to to use it on now, as I'll maybe throw a piece with that combination in mind today. Could look great on a large bowl. Let me know what you think.
